The Black Licker: Friend or Foe?

Miroomia City, Miroomia - Sightings of a "Black Licker" have been reported from all over the city since earlier this week. This Black Licker is reportedly a vigilante, who delivers perpetrators to the MPD headquarters, tied up and covered in slobber. Although sightings of the Black Licker have been numerous, very few pictures have been able to capture it's likeness. Some citizens claim that the Black Licker is twenty feet tall, with a tail the size of the King's River.

The MPD has a warrant out for the arrest of the Black Licker, believing that this creature is "impeding justice" and "demeaning the police force," despite the fact that the MPD's recklessness has been apparent since long before the Black Licker's appearance. For instance, the fact that Rani Sundaram, better known as the Squeaky Stealer, escaped from custody several weeks ago. A street survey revealed that the people of Miroomia, according to one citizen, "feel much safer knowing that someone is looking out for us."

We at the Miroomia Journal believe that justice, in any form, is much over due in Miroomia City, and if the MPD is unable to satisfy that justice, then maybe the Black licker is our best bet.
