Squeaky Stealer Will Strike No More!

Miroomia City, Miroomia - After the long and grueling search, the police finally captured the Squeaky Stealer on monday night. Unfortunately, the MPD's careless operation resulted in the death of an officer, Rabbit Thing, who had been on the force for fifteen years.

The Squeaky Killer, the MPD tells us, was one Rani Sundaram, a gigantic dog who worked as a medical examiner at the city morgue. In fact, the same person who did the autopsies on every single one of the victims. The families of the victims were unable to comment, but Ms. Sundaram's roommate, Toby, had this to say:

"I knew she was trouble from the start. She had that crazy look in her eye, and she kept standing on couches." The MPD first suspected Ms. Sundaram when further study of the bodies of the victims showed that there was more damage inflicted postmortem, and for that matter, post-autopsy.

The MPD captured Ms. Sundaram by setting up a trap involving Officer Thing as the bait. Ms. Sundaram took the bait, overpowering Officer Thing, and ripping the officer's ears, tail, and head off before the MPD managed to capture the suspect.

The families and friends of all the victims are holding a memorial service for the victims on Monday, the seventeenth of November.

Ms. Sundaram is facing a life sentence if she is found guilty, and, given the overwhelming amount of evidence against the suspect, it is likely that she will serve that term.
