Chickens Rob Jewelry Store!

The two chickens, fleeing the crime

Miroomia City, Miroomia - Late last night, two chickens broke into Tim the Tiger's Jewelry Store, assaulting Tim, the owner of the store, and robbing him of all of his merchandise. They are reported to have stolen five million dollars worth of jewelry.

The identities of the two chickens are as of yet unknown, but according to secure sources, they almost certainly live in Chicken Town, the large, chicken oriented neighborhood in western Miroomia City. The leaders of the Chicken League for Unity of Chickens are claiming that these criminals are claiming that these two criminals are not chickens. Cluckly Cluckington, a respectable member of C.L.U.C, said "these guys are obviously not chickens, if you ask me, they look more like foxes!" Clearly, this issue is deeper than it appears.

The Chicken/Fox conflict has been waging for decades in Miroomia City. Various radical groups have assaulted and killed members of the opposing species, regardless of whether that animal had anything to do with the conflict. Could this be another episode in this "war?"

The Miroomia Police Department has assured the people of this great city that there is nothing to worry about, and that they have the situation under control, but this robbery suggests otherwise.

Furthermore, Tim the Tiger, who is an upstanding member of society, a humble jeweler, is neither a fox, nor a chicken. We at the Miroomia Journal would like to know this: If tigers are being caught in the crossfire of this conflict, then who will be next? Hard-working honest bunnies? Squirrels?
Our children?
