An Attempt on our Noble King's Life!

Miroomia City, Miroomia - Earlier today, a traitorous dog made an attempt on the life of our noble king, King Tchaikovsky I, by sitting on him. The dog, identified as a singer from out of town named Jingle Bells, claimed that he "did not intend to injure the sovereign of this nation." His actions, however, speak louder than his words.

The king was about to give an address to the people of Miroomia when Mr. Bells fell out of the sky and landed directly on top of his majesty. His majesty suffered from minor injuries, but the injuries could have proved fatal if the king was not such a strong bunny. The royal physician has given the following statement: "His majesty is recovering quite well. The king's heart is a constant concern for us physicians, being that bunnies are so prone to heart attacks, but it appears that his majesty is completely fine in that regard, being a most courageous bunny. He has suffered from a flattened tail and two broken ribs, as well as various cuts and bruises."
The Offence

What we at the Miroomia Journal would like to know is this: where was the Royal Guard? Why did they allow this dog to get anywhere near our sovereign? Why did King Tchaikovsky have to suffer injury at all? This all could have been prevented if the Royal Guard had done their research.

Mr. Bells is being charged with high treason, for an attempt on the king's life.

We wish his majesty a swift recovery.
